Alexander J Carnie is a UK-based documentary photographer, born in Hackney, London in 1998. He graduated from BA Documentary Photography at the University of South Wales, in 2021. The subjects of his practice revolve around the natural world, including natural history, climate change and other environmental issues, with a focus on how these topics can be documented and communicated through a diverse range of visual mediums. Extending from analogue still photographs, to contemporary mediums such satellite mapping and videography; often combining different mediums to form a wider, more encompassing representation of his subjects.
